Atletico Madrid, Monaco and Villarreal make up European treble

| 08.03.2014

Coral offer an enhanced 9/2 on away victories in La Liga for Atletico Madrid at Celta Vigo and Villarreal at Granada along with a home win for Monaco against Sochaux.

Celta Vigo v Atletico Madrid
Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid should get their title bid back on track as they visit mid-table Galician club Celta Vigo.

Atleti are odds-on at 17/20 for victory in Vigo. As top-scorer Diego Costa serves a suspension, the goal burden passes to the man who lost his spot to him in the Spain squad. David Villa is priced up as 5/1 favourite to score first.

Monaco v Sochaux
Monaco will look to stay in the race for the Ligue 1 title as they face struggling Sochaux at home.

Claudio Ranieri’s side are odds-on at 2/9 for the win against a side that sit second bottom of the French top-flight.

Sochaux are without a victory on their travels so far this season and expect that to continue here.

In the continued absence of Radamel Falcao, cultured Bulgarian Dimitar Berbatov could make his first start for Monaco here. Back him at 5/2 to score first.

Granada v Villarreal
Villarreal are still on course to qualify for a European spot in their first season back in La Liga. They have impressed upon their immediate return to the Spanish top-flight and are currently in fifth place on 44 points.

They are 5/4 to claim their seventh away victory of the season, having won last time 2-1 at Espanyol. Granada, meanwhile, have been dragged back into the relegation scrap after losing five of their last six matches.

Only Betis and Vallecano have a worse home record than Granada this season, so the Yellow Submarine are more than likely to sink them here.

Villarreal’s chances of victory are enhanced by the news that the ban of leading scorer Ikechukwu Uche has been lifted. Back him or fellow forward Giovani dos Santos for goals anytime at 7/4.
