Liverpool 125-1 to repeat Arsenal demolition

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Bookmakers aren’t expecting a repeat of Arsenal’s 5-1 drubbing at Anfield last weekend, with Coral quoting odds of 125-1 that they suffer the same fate when they host Liverpool in the fifth round of the FA Cup.

During that clash, Brendan Rodgers’ side put four goals past the Gunners in the first twenty minutes of kick-off, and Coral has opened betting on how many they score within that time frame on Sunday. It’s 250-1 that that the visitors score four or more within twenty minutes of the opening whistle, while it’s 1-3 that they don’t score. The firm are also quoting odds of 12-1 that Liverpool score the winner in added time, like they did against Fulham midweek.

Saturday’s glamour tie see’s Man City host Chelsea, and Coral go 4-1 that Manuel Pellegrini and Jose Mourinho don’t shake hands at full-time, while it’s 5-2 that there’s a penalty in the game.

“We’re preparing for an Arsenal rebound after their shock thrashing last weekend. The betting suggests that a close encounter is on the cards, and we’re certainly not expecting Liverpool to inflict the same misery upon Arsenal away from home,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
