Get 15 football results right with Coral Jackpot now up to £650,000

We were correct with over half of our predictions on the last occasion that we attempted to pick 15 correct results in the Football Jackpot and with the total prize pool now at an estimated £650,000, it is time to play the game again.

To win the jackpot, the correct results have to be predicted from the 15 games below through a coupon that can be found here.

The minimum stake per line is £1, but customers are permitted to enter as many lines as they wish, which may mean selecting two of the three possible results from fixtures that are considered especially tight to call.

Meanwhile, there are consolation prizes for selecting 13 or 14 correct results, regardless of whether or not the jackpot is won.

Below are this week’s 15 matches and our suggestions for what to enter into the jackpot pool.

Aston Villa v West Ham – Home win

With Andy Carroll failing in his efforts to get a three-game ban overturned, preference has to be for Villa here, especially as they are unbeaten in this fixture at Villa Park since 2006, winning each of the last two.

Chelsea v Newcastle – Home win

Newcastle were far from brilliant in the 3-0 loss to Sunderland and are without top-scorer Loic Remy and midfield enforcer Cheick Tiote here. Chelsea can build on their win over Man City.

Crystal Palace v West Brom – Draw

West Brom are without a win in five games, while Palace have won four of their last six at home. Palace also won at the Hawthorns in the FA Cup third round last month, but this should be much tighter.

Norwich v Man City – Away win

Man City haven’t lost back-to-back Premier League games since 2010 and even though the likes of Fernandinho and Sergio Aguero are still out, they can beat a Norwich team that they have scored 25 goals against in their last five meetings.

Southampton v Stoke – Home win

Stoke have lost every Premier League away game against opposition currently above them in the table this season, while the Saints have only let in two home games against bottom-half opposition.

Sunderland v Hull – Draw

Steve Bruce returns to one of his former managerial stop-offs with Sunderland on a run of three wins in all competitions. Hull may have failed to score in three straight road trips, but can take a point here.

Barnsley v Ipswich – Home win

Ipswich haven’t won away since Boxing Day and have become specialists at drawing 1-1 away to teams below them in the table. Barnsley will be without the suspended Emmanuel Frimpong, but can gain a much-needed win.

Huddersfield v Wigan – Away win

Not the rugby league fixture to kick off the new Super League season, but Huddersfield have lost four on the bounce, while Wigan have been beaten just once in nine.

Leicester v Watford – Home win

Nine straight Championship wins have given Leicester some breathing space at the top of the table and they host a Watford team without an away win against opposition currently above them in the standings and that have lost two successive road trips.

Middlesbrough v Blackburn – Away win

Three games without scoring have derailed Middlesbrough’s charge up the Championship, while Blackburn have scored in eight straight league games. One goal may be enough for them here.

Swansea v Cardiff – Draw

Garry Monk couldn’t have asked for a bigger first game in charge of Swansea and he may have to settle for a point against a Cardiff side that had a productive transfer window.

Dundee Utd v St Mirren – Home win

Dundee United haven’t won in seven, since losing at St Mirren on Boxing Day, but that record can end against opposition that tend to be bad travellers.

Tottenham v Everton – Home win

See a bigger breakdown here, but Spurs have a knack of winning games in which Mark Clattenburg is referee. They can continue this record here.

Man Utd v Fulham – Home win

Fulham are bottom of the Premier League, haven’t scored in three league games and were knocked out of the FA Cup by Sheffield United. Even Man Utd in their current state can’t fail to win this.

Derby v QPR – Away win

QPR have already beaten Derby this season and come into this fixture in the better recent form and having enjoyed a more productive transfer window.
