Sam Allardyce 4-11 not to guide West Ham into the 2014/15 season

| 07.01.2014

Despite West Ham’s co-owners David Gold and David Sullivan publicly backing Sam Allardyce to succeed at Upton Park, Coral think otherwise and are offering 4-11 for Big Sam not to be at West Ham at the start of the 2014/15 season.

Allardyce’s side have won only one of their last 13 top-flight games and sit second from bottom of the Premier League table. It’s 13-8 for West Ham to be relegated this season and 7-1 they end the season bottom of the table.

With Allardyce’s tenure at Upton Park under threat, Coral are offering 6-4 for the former Hammers boss Harry Redkanpp to take over the reins.

“Even though Gold and Sullivan have backed Sam Allardyce to turn West Ham’s fortunes around, we still feel that Allardyce is skating on very thin ice. If Big Sam does leave Upton Park, the appointment of Harry Redknapp would certainly help win the fans over,” said Coral’s Tim Reynolds.

West Ham travel to the Etihad Stadium on Wednesday evening to play their 1st leg Capital One Cup semi-final match. It’s 18-1 for Allardyce’s side to cause a huge upset and take a first leg advantage back to Upton Park and 4-1 is quoted for West Ham to go on and reach the final.
