Coral offering refunds if Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

It is becoming somewhat common in recent Super Bowl history that it is the best attack from the season that are pitted against the top defence.

On both previous instances, it is the leading defence that has triumphed, but with Peyton Manning at quarterback and five players to have reached double figures in terms of touchdowns this season, the Denver Broncos can bring an end to this run.

And should Denver beat the Seattle Seahawks at the MetLife Arena, then Coral will be refunding all losing first and last touchdown scorer bets in the Super Bowl, up to £25.

Full terms and conditions can be found here.

This may provide a safety net to punters, but it is not the only profitable bet they could have on the Super Bowl. Below are four more suggestions that can top up the bank balance.

Russell Wilson total passing yards: Under 202.5 yards @ 10/11

Seattle are more naturally a running team than a throwing one, utilising Russell Wilson’s more mobile nature as a quarterback to make rushing plays more regularly than passing ones.

Over the season, the Seahawks have attempted 509 rushing plays to 420 passing ones.
If Seattle are to win, their best hope has to be to keep the Denver attackers sat on the sidelines for as long as possible and rushing plays offer the safer manner of doing this, especially with the Super Bowl expected to be a windy affair that will make passing more difficult.

Wilson averages 210 passing yards per game this season, but taking everything above into consideration, under 202.5 total passing yards in New Jersey is more than likely.

Marshawn Lynch total rushing yards: Over 89.5 yards @ 10/11

Following on from the above, if Seattle are going to have success in their rushing game, then Marshawn Lynch is sure to be the dominant figure.

The running back has been responsible for 12 of Seattle’s 14 rushing touchdowns this season and no other player from their ranks has managed more than five touchdowns in total.

Lynch averages 18 rushing attempts per game this season, gaining 80 yards in total per game on average. This is likely to rise in the Super Bowl, especially after being given a rest at the end of the post-season.

He also totalled 249 yards across Seattle’s two play-off victories.

Eric Decker to score a touchdown anytime @ 5/4

Demaryius Thomas tops the touchdown standings for Denver this season with 14, but given that he is regarded as the biggest wide-receiver threat, there is every chance that he will be the responsibility of superstar defender Richard Sherman to control.

This could mean that another Denver wide receiver is the place to look to get on the end of Manning’s passes and Eric Decker has 11 touchdowns this season, while only receiving six fewer passes from Manning over the course of the regular season.

Richard Sherman to be named MVP @ 28/1

Deciding on which team will win the Super Bowl has to be the first step to picking an MVP, as only once in the competition’s history has an MVP been on the losing side.

Unsurprisingly, quarterbacks have a great track record when it comes to picking up MVP accolades, doing so 26 times in total and in the last four Super Bowls.

Manning is 11/10 to be named MVP, with Wilson 11/4.

However, if Seattle are to win, their defence will have to be superb and in Sherman they have the player with the most interceptions this season. This could be a bigger factor in a possible Seattle win than Wilson’s use of the ball when in possession.
