Andy Murray eased for Australian Open ahead of Federer test

| 20.01.2014

Andy Murray is 9-1 (from 13-2) with Coral for the Australian Open title, ahead of the British number one’s quarter-final showdown against Roger Federer. The Swiss ace is 8-11 favourite to win that match, with Murray 11-10, while Federer is 10-1 to go all the way in Melbourne, and 3-1 to add to his Major tally before his career ends, but 2-9 not to.

“Roger Federer looked superb when brushing Jo-Wilfried Tsonga aside, and he will be a formidable opponent for Andy Murray, although the odds suggest that whatever happens in their quarter-final, he faces an uphill task to add to his 17 Major wins,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
