Fergie’s book tipped to cause upset, but backed to be top seller

Published:

Sir Alex Ferguson’s book, titled My Autobiography, is tipped to upset some high-profile stars, and leading bookmaker Coral offer 2-1 that Wayne Rooney hits back at his former boss on Twitter.  Other stars expected to feature in the book include Roy Keane and David Beckham, and Coral go 5-1 that the former footballers criticise the book in the national press.

With plenty of controversy expected, Coral go 7-1 that it’s the best-selling book this Christmas, 8-11 that it sells more copies than David Beckham’s My Side, and 1-33 that it beats Harry Redknapp’s new book.

“Sir Alex Ferguson’s book is bound to be a stocking filler this Christmas, but we doubt it will be on Wayne Rooney’s wish list. The United striker is bracing himself for a few home truths when the book comes out on Thursday, and given his hot-headed nature, we doubt he’ll remain tight-lipped for long”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.

** Sir Alex Ferguson specials:

8-11 To sell more than David Beckham’s autobiography ‘My Side – The Autobiography’ before the end of 2014

7-1 To be the best-selling book of Christmas 2013

2-1 Rooney to respond to the book via twitter

5-1 Any of Beckham, Keane, RVN to criticise the book in an English newspaper

Whose book will sell more? 1-33 Alex Ferguson, 10-1 Harry Redknapp
