Toronado installed as joint favourite for Qipco Champion Stakes

| 13.08.2013

Following the news that Toronado could step up in trip in the future, Coral has installed the Sussex Stakes winner as the 3-1 joint favourite for the Qipco Champion Stakes. Al Kazeem is the other market leader for the ten-furlong contest, while Toronado and his stablemate Olympic Glory are 11-4 joint favourites for the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes.

“Toronado was a leading Investec Derby hope in the spring, so a step up to ten furlongs looks well within his range, and with the same connections having Olympic Glory for the leading mile contests, the former could be the one to beat in the Qipco Champion Stakes,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
