Man United 6-5 to gain 10 or more points

Following the news that David Moyes has raised his concerns to the FA about Manchester United’s tricky start to the new season, Coral are offering 6-5 for United to gain 10 or more points from their opening five league games. The defending champions face Swansea in their opening match of the 2013/14 season on Saturday and then have the daunting task of having to play Chelsea(h), Liverpool(a) and Man City(a) within their next four league games.

“Looking at Manchester United’s opening five league matches you can understand why David Moyes isn’t best pleased. United should prove too strong for both Swansea and Crystal Palace, but how many points they will gain from their fixtures against Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City is hard to predict,” said Coral’s Tim Reynolds.

“You would expect Untied to overcome one of the big three clubs they have to face so the over nine and a half points looks the value bet,” added Reynolds.

Ahead of Saturday’s Premier League fixtures, Coral are offering a new market on which match will be shown on Match of the Day first and make the Swansea v Manchester United clash their 2-7 favourite. Liverpool v Stoke is next best at 3-1 with the Arsenal v Aston Villa match available at 10-1.

Hull, Crystal Palace and Cardiff will be all hoping to start their Premier League campaigns off with a bang. Coral quote 4-7 that none of the three newly promoted teams gain maximum points and 175-1 that all three teams win (5-4 one team wins and 10-1 two teams win).
