Crew Cut pays for couple’s honeymoon
Published:Newlyweds Natalie and Steve Wood won the chance to become Crew Cut’s owners for a day at Newmarket last Saturday with the Coral Champions Club. The couple were already delighted to be there as Crew Cut’s owners but the icing on the cake was when he won the Grey Horse Handicap. Winning over £900 in prize money meant a great deal to the couple and as a result, they can now afford to go on their honeymoon.
Natalie and Steve rejoiced:
“After our wedding and with a young family, we were not able to afford a honeymoon and we only managed a night away at a Chessington Resort Hotel as a treat for the four of us. However, winning this money means we will now be able to afford a proper honeymoon. The whole day was truly a once in a lifetime opportunity that we never dreamed we would be able to experience. We cannot thank Coral Champions Club enough”.
Coral’s Head of Racing, James Knight, commented:
“This is exactly what the Coral Champions Club is all about, bringing the thrill and excitement of racehorse ownership to people who would never normally have access to it. Crew Cut has been an absolute star for the club and he will be back in action in the Ayr Silver Cup in September. You never know, he could end up paying for someone else’s honeymoon!”
** The Coral Champions Club is FREE to sign up to, giving members the chance to become an owner for the day, win free bets and weekly racing tips from Coral’s Head of Racing James Knight, plus much more.
