Chris Fountain tipped for reality TV stint

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Following the news that Coronation Street actor Chris Fountain has been sacked from the show for foul-mouthed raps, punters have been predicting that the 25-year-old could turn his attention to reality TV. Coral has installed him at 4-1 to enter either Big Brother, Strictly Come Dancing or I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, while it is 3-1 that he gets a record deal before the end of the year.

It’s less likely that he lands another role on a soap opera, and Coral are quoting 5-1 that he returns to Hollyoaks, while a move to Australia to star in either Neighbours or Home and Away is a longer shot at 50-1.

“Chris Fountain’s atrocious behaviour has certainly left him out in the cold and we doubt that there’ll be many acting roles coming his way. However, reality shows are renowned for taking on controversial names and judging by the odds, that could be his next move”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
