Bookies slash odds on early arrival of Royal Baby No. 2
Prince William has hinted that the Duchess of Cambridge and he plan to have more children and excited punters have started betting on baby George having a new brother or sister sooner rather than later. Leading bookmaker Coral has cut the odds on William and Kate announcing that they are expecting a second royal baby in 2014 into 1-2 from even money, after they witnessed a flurry of bets this morning.
The firm are going even money that Kate gives birth in 2015, whilst some punters have even gone as far as predicting that she has twins which has been installed at 20-1. It’s 10-11 that baby George gets another brother and even money he gets a sister
“Now that the dust has settled on royal baby number one, punters are already eagerly awaiting the announcement for another little bundle of joy and from the sounds of things, they may not have to wait too long before they can cash in their betting slips”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
