Shane Filan favourite to replace departed Danny

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Coral bookmaker has slashed the odds on the show not returning into 8-1 from 33-1. The firm are already betting on Jessie J’s replacement, making Paloma Faith the 10-1 favourite and they have now opened up the betting on Danny’s successor.

Former Westlife hunk Shane Filan has attracted early money and Coral make him their 10-1 favourite, whilst Ronan Keating is a close second at 12-1. Punters now fear that either Will.i.am or Sir Tom Jones will quit the show, and Coral have cut the odds on either leaving into Evs from 2-1.

“First Jessie J and now Danny! The Voice has gone into meltdown and we have been inundated with bets on the show getting axed. If Will.i.am follows suit and leaves, we reckon fans of the show will lose interest without the main showman around”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
