Andy Murray now second favourite for Wimbledon glory after Queen’s success
Published:Andy Murray is 11-4 (from 3-1) joint second favourite with Coral to win a first Wimbledon title this summer, after the British number one defeated the defending champion Marin Cilic in the final of the traditonal pre-Wimbledon warm-up event at Queen’s Club today.
Novak Djokovic is the 15-8 favourite for the grass court Major, ahead of the other joint second favourite, French Open champion Rafa Nadal, at 15-8, while Roger Federer is 11-2 after he triumphed at Halle once again.
“Andy Murray has proved his fitness following his absence from the French Open, and he will head to SW19 as one of the men to beat, with only world number one Novak Djokovic ahead of him in the betting,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
