Telescope backed again for Investec Derby bid

| 19.05.2013

Coral has trimmed Telescope to 7-1 (from 8-1) for the Investec Derby, after the colt moved a step closer to lining up at Epsom following a piece of work in Newmarket this morning.

“Telescope was the best-backed horse in the Investec Derby betting over the winter, but that ante-post support appeared to have gone astray following last week’s setback. The latest news however is far more positive, and the colt remains the leading home hope for the Epsom Classic,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

In the Investec Oaks betting, Secret Gesture is now the clear 5-2 (from 11-4) favourite with Coral, after further support for the Lingfield Trial winner.
