Odds-On Denmark for Euro Success
Denmark is now as short as 8-13 with Coral bookmakers to win the Eurovision Song Contest after Thursday night’s second semi final. Norway, who is by far the most popular act to come from second heat, is the 13-2 second favourite.
Ukraine and Russia, the two best acts from the first semi-final, are next in the betting at 7-1 and 9-1 respectively. UK is rank outsiders at 66-1.
“Denmark’s performance on Tuesday night was the stand out from both semi-finals so far, and one that has had the punters flocking to the betting shops. They look like the act the rest have to beat to win, with Norway the best of the rest,” said Coral spokesman Gary Burton.
