Magician’s Odds Slashed For Coral-Eclipse
Published:Coral have slashed his odds into 10-1 from 33-1 for the Coral-Eclipse. They originally went 16-1, but ante-post support forced them to shorten his odds even further.
Earlier in the day, the firm trimmed Hitchens into 20-1 from 25-1 for the Wokingham Stakes at Royal Ascot after winning the Group 3 Weatherbys Ireland Greenland Stakes.
“Magician was tremendously popular early in the morning but the market turned against him and he was sent off second favourite behind Van Der Neer.
He powered clear to end up a convincing winner and we’ve been forced to cut his odds twice this afternoon for the Coral Eclipse”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
