Dawn Approach heads Guineas betting
Published:Dawn Approach remains Coral’s 11-8 favourite for Saturday’s Qipco 2,000 Guineas, following the final declarations for the season’s opening Classic. The well-backed Toronado is the 9-4 second favourite, ahead of the Aidan O’Brien-trained pair, Cristoforo Colombo and Mars, 8-1 and 10-1 respectively.
“The betting is dominated by Dawn Approach and Toronado, suggesting it will be a major surprise if the race is not won by one of that duo, while Joseph O’Brien’s decision to ride Cristoforo Colombo has seen that colt leapfrog his stablemate Mars in the market,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
