Dawn Approach 10-11 for Epsom glory as 14 rivals remain

SPORTSBOOK ODDS

Dawn Approach is the 10-11 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s Investec Derby, following the latest entry stage for the Epsom Classic. Ballydoyle stablemates Battle Of Marengo and Magician are the 9-2 joint second favourites, ahead of Ocovango at 7-1 and Chopin and Ruler Of The World, both 9-1.

In Coral’s Investec Coronation Cup betting, St Nicholas Abbey is 1-2 for a hat-trick of wins in the Group One contest, while Duke Of Firenze heads the Investec Dash market at 7-1.

“Dawn Approach remains odds-on favourite for the Investec Derby, but his closest challenger in the betting could turn out to be a fellow 2,000 Guineas winner in Magician, and if the latter makes a quick reappearance on Saturday, Joseph O’Brien’s decision on who he rides could well determine whether Magician or Battle Of Marengo starts clear second favourite to the Godolphin colt,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
