David Moyes Rated Just 4/1 To See Out His Six Year Contract At United

| 09.05.2013

David Moyes is odds against at 4/1 with bookmaker Coral to last out the six year term of his contract at Manchester United following official confirmation that he has joined the club.

Moyes is long odds-on at 1/7 to depart before the six year term is up which demonstrates the challenge he faces following the most successful manager in football history, Sir Alex Ferguson.

“Six years is a very long time in football and David Moyes faces an immense challenge to maintain the same level of success that Sir Alex Ferguson delivered to Manchester United, and our odds reflect the magnitude of his task,” said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.

Coral is also betting on which players might sign for Manchester United over the summer. Marouane Fellaini is a 9/4 chance to follow Moyes to United, with Leighton Baines at 16/1 and Phil Jagielka at 20/1 to join.

Other high profile players being linked to United include Cristiano Ronaldo who is 15/8 to sign, with Robert Lewandowski 5/2 and Gareth Bale 4/1.
