Coral customers can’t see past City

Published:

Ahead of this Saturday’s FA Cup final between Manchester City and Wigan, Coral customers can’t see past a win for City with over 90% of the bets placed on the match result being on Roberto Mancini’s men. City are 4-11 to win the match inside normal time with the draw priced at 7-2 and Wigan 8-1.

City have won their last seven matches against Wigan without conceding. Coral quote 11-10 for the Citizens to win to nil and 3-1 they score in the opening 10 minutes of the game.

Carlos Tevez is currently City’s leading goalscorer in this season’s competition with five goals. The Argentinean international is evens to score in 90 minutes and it’s 6-5 for Tevez to score and City to lift the cup for the second time in three years.

“Not surprisingly Manchester City are the favourites to lift the cup and looking at past results between the two sides it would be a huge shock if Wigan went on to cause an upset,” said Coral’s Tim Reynolds.

“Big favourites rarely lose FA Cup finals so everything points towards an easy win for City. The last shock result was Everton in 1995 and before that we have to go as far back as 1988 when Wimbledon beat Liverpool 1-0,” added Reynolds.
