The Malaga coach Manuel Pellegrini is 1-10 favourite with Coral to become the next Manchester City manager, following reports that current boss Roberto Mancini will be sacked by the FA Cup runners-up in the near future.

“We went 1-4 that Roberto Mancini would not be in charge at the Etihad at the start of next season following his side’s shock Wembley defeat to Wigan, and 5-2 that he would survive, but all the money came at odds-on, before we made the decision to suspend the market, and this was followed by the first reports that the Italian could go as soon as this week,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

“Billionaire football club owners do not accept trophy-less seasons it seems, with Manuel Pellegrini already lined up to step into the hot-seat, meaning the next Premier League season could start with new managers at Manchester United, Manchester City and Chelsea,” added Stevens.
