Camelot Heads Sponsor’s Betting For Stellar Coral-Eclipse

Camelot has been installed as the 5/1 favourite by the sponsor for this year’s Coral-Eclipse stakes following what is arguably the highest quality entry for the race this century.

Two of the best overseas horses in training in Animal Kingdom, from America, and Cirrus Des Aigles, from France, are next best in Coral’s list at 6/1 with Godolphin’s Farrh an 8/1 chance.

“The Coral-Eclipse always attracts the best of the best from the Classic generation and the older horse division but this year’s entry looks deeper and more diverse than ever,” said Simon Clare, Coral Spokesman.

“The Coral-Eclipse is the first opportunity for the Classic generation to clash with the older guard, and with established stars like Animal Kingdom, Camelot, Cirrus Des Aigles, St Nicholas Abbey and Red Cadeaux all entered, as well as the rising stars Dawn Approach, Toronado, Battle of Marengo and Mars, I am extremely optimistic that we will have a race to savour come the 6th July,” added Clare.
