Coral bookmakers have now opened up a market on who will appear on Sky Sports News this afternoon to comment on Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement and it’s no surprise to see Gary Neville as the overwhelming odds-on favourite at 1-50. However, names that have been capturing punters attention include the Scotsman’s son Darren Ferguson at even money and former United star Eric Cantona at 3-1.

Die-hard United fan Rory McIlroy has also been backed to do an interview with the media giants at 2-1, whilst pop star Mick Hucknall is available at 5-1 to make a comment.

“The news will be dominated by Sir Alex Ferguson’s retirement and the betting has gone crazy. Punters are looking to get involved with all types of markets and this is just the latest one that has caught their attention”, commented Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
