American move favourite in betting for Mesut Özil’s next club

Germany international frozen out at Arsenal
With Mesut Özil unable to force his way into the Arsenal first team, the Germany international is 6/4 to move to any MLS club should he leave the Gunners.
Özil grabbed the assist in his last competitive appearance in an Arsenal shirt, in a 1-0 win over West Ham 1-0 at the Emirates in March. The playmaker has since been omitted from their Premier League squad and Europa League for the 2020/21 campaign.
Elsewhere, Turkish giants Fenerbahçe and Besiktas are second and third in the running at 2/1 and 9/4 respectively.
Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead said: “Patrice Evra’s looking for Mesut Özil and we think the most likely place he’ll find him is in America the next time he’s on the pitch. We make a move to the MLS favourite for Özil’s next club.”
We could yet see the German international remain in Europe, with Paris Saint-Germain 4/1 to secure his signature in a move which could rejuvenate his career. Inter Milan are 5/1 in the betting with North London rivals Tottenham at 10/1 to offer him a career lifeline.
