Latest odds ahead of the Sandown Grade 1 renewal
Altior is now the odds-on favourite to win the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown this Saturday.
Nicky Henderson’s star hasn’t been seen in action since winning his Grade 2 win at Newbury back in February, having been ruled out of defending his Queen Mother Champion Chase crown.
He’s on course to make his return at Sandown though, and our traders make him 4/5 favourite (was 5/4).
Greaneteen is 7/2 second favourite, with Politologue next in the betting as a 5/1 shot.
“It’s been well publicised that last season did not go to plan for Altior, but back over his favoured two miles he still retains a huge reputation, and he’s already odds-on to start this campaign with another top level success,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
“Paul Nicholls has a tremendous record in the race, and Greaneteen, who could be the rising star in the division, is clear second favourite here, ahead of his stablemate Politologue,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
