60/1 Sunday accumulator

Five hot-picks from the UK and abroad

We won’t get quite the same glamour as Saturday’s FA Cup and Scottish Cup finals, but there’s plenty to keep football punters amused on Sunday afternoon. Blackpool and Exeter face-off at Wembley in the League Two play-offs, while Hamilton host Dundee United for a place in the Scottish Premiership.

As well as the domestic action, we have a busy schedule for Italy, as the Serie A winds down. Great news for accumulator backers, but this rates as one of the last chances of the season to win big. Click now to place your football bets, or stick with us as we give our top five, with every £5 down paying £307.85.

Blackpool beat Exeter

The Blackpool Supporters Trust will continue their boycott of matches on Sunday, meaning they miss the trip to Wembley, as they fight against the club’s owners. That’s dedication to the cause. It shouldn’t make too much difference to the result of the day though, and we’re taking the battling Seasiders to call on their big game experience to progress into League One.

Exeter were impressive during the regular season, and ended two places higher than their opponents in the final charts, but there was only one point in it and Blackpool were unbeaten against Sunday’s opponents. 2-0 at Bloomfield Road back in August proves just what they are capable of. Take Gary Bowyer’s troops to win at 9/5.

Hamilton beat Dundee United

Dundee United have been eye-catching during the play-offs. Beating Morton home and away in the first round, they then edged past Falkirk in a real upset. Plenty had them written off when welcoming Premiership side Hamilton to Tannadice on Thursday, but they scrapped to a useful draw. This is now a straight shoot-out at New Douglas Park.

Accies won’t be too disappointed with that goalless finish in midweek either, meaning they have home advantage in a must-win game. That will make life easier on the top-tier side, but I do rate them as the better team of the two anyway, and more than capable of winning the match. They have the players and go in a bit fresher, making the home win a value play at 13/10.

AC Milan beat Cagliari

Moving onto the first of three legs from the Serie A and Milan are picked out to beat Cagliari at 10/11. They did exactly that in the reverse of this fixture back in January, Bacca scoring the winning goal before Bruno Alves was sent off. Cagliari were beaten 6-2 by Sassuolo last time, and a similar showing will see them put to the sword again on Sunday.

Lazio beat Crotone

Lazio have lost each of their last two league games, which didn’t count for much at the time, but they are now just a point above Atalanta in fifth, and in real danger of slipping down the pecking order. A strong finish is a must, but they are supported to beat Crotone, who are third bottom of the pile. These sides have met only once before, The Eagles winning 1-0 earlier this year. Lazio at 21/10 looks to have been priced in our favour.

Torino beat Sassuolo

There’s not been an awful lot out of Torino to inspire confidence in recent weeks, but they have enjoyed a season to be proud of, and the players will want to finish with a win. This looks a 50/50, but home advantage just swings it, and we’re going out with a play on the locals at 8/13. Should be a narrow win, with the danger being exhibition football.
