Our five-fold should keep you involved

The Scottish Cup Fifth Round takes centre stage north of the border this weekend, and Coral offer some fantastic value for punters shrewd enough to pick out the winners. Click here to bet on the games now.

We throw our hat into the ring in support and have trawled through the ties to offer up our idea of an accumulator worth having. Every £5 down pays £156.20. Prices and returns are correct at the time of writing. Read on as we break down the selections.

Hamilton beat Dunfermline

Championship hosts Premiership and we are siding with the higher ranked Accies. Dunfermline have hauled themselves up the table on the back of some eye-catching form, but they have a bad habit of drawing matches. Failing to beat Championship level sides won’t stand them in good stead here and we take a shot on Hamilton at a worthwhile 29/20.

St Mirren beat East Fife

We must be mad trusting St Mirren with our money, but the relegation-bound Championship side should enjoy a weekend off from their worries, and famously knocked Premiership Dundee out in the last round. The Fifers are a part-time team from the level below, making St Mirren’s 13/10 look massive.

St Johnstone beat Partick

An all-Premiership clash and St Johnstone have beaten Partick twice already this season on league duty, both without conceding a goal. Thistle have lost their last two, and are winless in four. St Johnstone should know enough to progress at 11/10, which is fair.

Hearts beat Hibs

The gamble of the round perhaps, but Hearts have found their feet at exactly the right time, and after thumping Rangers 4-1, they beat Motherwell 3-0 on their last start. Boss Ian Cathro was busy in January and his new signings have hit the ground running. Let’s take a chance at 6/5.

Rangers beat Morton

The Bears are on a miserable run of form going into this one, but at home, and against a side from the level below, they’ve got to get through. If they don’t, Mark Warburton could be out of a job come Monday. It’s that serious. We oppose the Greenock side at 1/5.
