3 potential new managers to replace Ronald Koeman at Everton

A shocking start to the 2017-18 campaign has seen Everton and Ronald Koeman part ways.
The club announced the Dutchman’s departure on Monday afternoon.
After a relatively excellent seventh place finish the previous season, the Toffees decided to spend big in a bid to push on.
The Merseyside outfit spent a huge sum bringing in a number of quality additions.
However, a suitable replacement for the outgoing Romelu Lukaku was not forthcoming. And Koeman has paid the price.
Who do the Blues turn to next? The Coral News Team give their recommendations from the current betting list.
Realistic Option: Sean Dyche – 7/4
Burnley have exceeded expectations so far this season. Sean Dyche has been a superb appointment at Turf Moor since taking the reins in 2012.
However, how much further can he realistically take a club like the Clarets? There is a ceiling for all clubs and it is arguable that Dyche has just about reached it there.
The next step for the former Watford defender is surely a club like Everton. It is an outfit on the precipice of breaking the elite – a traditionally huge club.
Optimistic Option: Manuel Pellegrini – 8/1
The former Manchester City manager is a hugely underrated coach.
Having worked wonders previously at similar clubs to Everton – Villarreal, and Malaga – it could be argued this is his optimum level.
However, that’s not to say his stints at Real Madrid and City weren’t successes. He won honours at both clubs and plays attractive football.
The 64-year-old has the experience to deal with the current issues at Goodison and would be a good appointment.
Ambitious Option: Brendan Rodgers – 25/1
Prizing Rodgers away from Celtic in the middle of what could be a historic season for the club would prove difficult.
But if Everton are serious about turning their season around, the ex-Liverpool boss would be the perfect replacement.
You only have to look at how Jurgen Klopp is now struggling at Anfield to see what a good job the Northern Irishman did while there.
He has brought the Hoops to a new level in the 18 months or so he has been at Parkhead. And the Antrim man would play the type of football Toffee fans would love.
