Five picks from Thursday night’s action

The Europa League Group Stages edge past the halfway point this evening with 24 ties from across Europe.

Arsenal and Everton are both in action, while AC Milan travel to Greece looking to bounce back from a weekend defeat to Juventus.

As always, the Coral News Team have crunched the numbers to bring you a Thursday night five-fold, which could return £90.30 from a £5 stake. All prices and returns correct at time of writing.

Things get going in Italy.

AC Milan to beat AEK Athens

Milan may be faltering in Serie A, but in the Europa League they’re having no such problems. The Italian giants have won two of their three games so far and will be expecting to get the better of AEK this time around after a draw in the San Siro a fortnight ago.

They provide surprisingly good value at 6/5.

Hoffenheim to beat Istanbul Basaksehir

These are two sides that both need to win if they’re to have any chance of qualifying for the knockout stages of the competition.

Hoffenheim got the better of tonight’s opponents when they met in Germany and they should have enough quality to make it two wins from two against the Turkish side. The away team are 11/10 for all three points.

Lyon to beat Everton

Everton were all at sea at Leicester City on Sunday and the Coral News Team aren’t expecting things to get any better for the Toffees here. Lyon are a class opponent who were highly impressive in their 2-1 victory at Goodison Park a fortnight ago.

At home, the French side have been equally ruthless. Lyon are unbeaten at Stade de Lyon this season and are 1/2 to keep that record going with a win.

Arsenal to beat Crvena Zvedza

The Gunners are back in the groove and have now won four games in a row in all competitions. They were dominant in seeing off Crvena Zvedza in the away leg and back at the Emirates, they’re expected to do the business once again.

Arsenal are two from two at home in the Europa League and they’re 1/3 to continue that run against the Serbian side.

Zenit to beat Rosenborg

Zenit are one of only four sides in this season’s Europa League that remain unbeaten. The Russian giants have been hugely impressive so far, scoring 11 goals and conceding just two.

Against a Rosenborg side that have been shy in front of goal, Roberto Mancini’s side are expected to maintain their 100% record at 10/11.
