Developed by Playtech, Magical Stacks is a lot different to the usual games we’re used to!  The design is colourful and anime-esque, with a loud and incredibly fun soundtrack. The game attempts to create a realistic view, where you play on a traditional machine with a blurry casino background!

The icons for this game are quite traditional, but with a twist. The high-value symbols are the usual fruits, but with purple sevens, bells, and bars. The lower value icons are J, Q, K and A, but they’re all themed around the oriental.

The pink and white haired girls that appear are wild symbols and cubes with question marks are the bonus symbols. The bonus symbols, as you would expect, trigger the bonus games, but more about that below. Finally, the scatter symbol is a cute white cat that appears, leading you on to yet another bonus!

Mystery Stacks:

In this first bonus game, the amount of cubes you have (mentioned above) turn into other symbols. If they match with other symbols on the reels then it can lead to high pay-outs and big money!

Super Magical Free Games:

To trigger this bonus feature, you need at least three of the cat scatter symbols. Landing thees symbols will automatically award you 10 free spins and a multiplier on top! The multiplier will be between 2x and 6x. If a Chinese coin appears then the multiplier will increase by one, with a maximum multiplier of 6x. If you fail to land the coin on each spin though, the multiplier will decrease by one, up to a minimum of 2x.

What’s Magical Stacks like overall?

Magical Stacks is certainly something different from Playtech, but we think it’s a good change. The bright colours and loud soundtrack give the game a unique view compared to other games by the developers. The game is action packed and offers big wins. Also, the chance to win is high especially with the bonus rounds and free spins.
