10/1 Sunday football acca
Published:Six teams expected to shine
Football followers are in for a real treat this Sunday, with some massive ties planned in the Premier League. Tottenham vs Arsenal headlines the day, and you can bet on a range of markets here, but there’s also plenty in support, including Everton vs Chelsea at Goodison Park.
A busy schedule from League One ensures accumulator backers are given another shot at winning big, and there’s enough going on to target a bulky pay-out to spark your Sunday to life. We have run over the list and return with our top-six picks, which returns over 10/1.
Man Utd beat Swansea
United couldn’t find a way past City in Thursday’s Manchester Derby, but it was not for the want of trying. They created plenty of chances, and it was one of the more entertaining 0-0 finishes you will see this season. That point kept Jose’s boys in the hunt for a top-four finish, and they remain just one off City. They can’t stutter again here, the win is a must. 4/11 on the locals starts us off.
Man City beat Middlesbrough
The Smoggies picked up a midweek win over bottom-club Sunderland, but they now face the might of Man City, who have something to aim at in the closing stages. The Citizens are unbeaten in three, and have lost just one of their last 10. It doesn’t pay to oppose that kind of form, and we won’t, picking out 3/10.
Bolton beat Peterborough
Bolton are just two points better than Fleetwood in second, but they will be going all out to avoid the lottery of play-off football. A runner-up spot is a must, and we fancy them to get the desired result at 1/2. Peterborough have won just one of their last four.
Fleetwood beat Port Vale
The Trawlermen will feel they deserve automatic promotion this season, and go into this all-important tie on a three-game winning run. Their opponents need a win to avoid relegation, but have lost five of their last six. The home cheer makes sense at 4/6.
Sheff Utd beat Chesterfield
League leaders Sheffield United have won the league at a canter, and will finish up as one of the most impressive sides in the country this season. The Blades are sprinting over the line, on an unbeaten run and winning each of their last six. 2/11 on that form looks big enough.
Rochdale beat Bradford
One to boost up the returns and Rochdale need the points more, and that should show in the final result. The Bantams are safe in the promotion places, but their opponents must win to have any chance of extending their season. We’ll take a chance on 6/5.
