Follow our football 10-fold to riches

Saturday, the highlight of the sporting week, and a chance to aim for the stars and claim a big price football accumulator for small stakes. It’s what the weekend is all about!

We’ve picked through the UK action and return with a 10-fold that will see you bank £538.24 for a £1 stake. Doesn’t that sound just about right? Returns are correct at the time of writing, as always. Read on as we take a glance at the selections…..

Arseneal beat Hull

The Gunners are a tricky side to trust at the minute, but at home, against an opponent in the relegation zone, just one point off the bottom, they have to be taken. Arsenal smashed Hull 4-1 last time, let’s have more of the same.

Everton beat Middlesbrough

The Toffees have a handy fixture-list this month and, if they keep grinding out results, they will be knocking on the door of the top-four come March. Confidence is high with the Goodison Park club, while Boro are winless in seven league starts.

Tottenham beat Liverpool

This is the one that will pay our way this weekend, and boost up the returns. The Reds haven’t won a match in all competitions this year, and are struggling to score goals. Spurs are second in the rankings, unbeaten in two months now. They must be trusted.

Derby beat Bristol City

Bristol City are an easy team to oppose at the minute and we’ll continue to do just that until they show improvement. The Robins have lost eight of their last 10, all coming in-a-row. Derby are a decent side chasing a promotion place, and won’t need asking twice.

Norwich beat Nottingham Forest

Another in all kinds of trouble this season, Forest have already lost to Norwich, and The Canaries seem to have found their voice again. A win here could lift them back into the promotion play-off places.

Bolton beat Walsall

The Trotters are making heavy work of their bid for promotion and it looks like they may have to settle for a play-off place. There’s still plenty of football to be played however, and they are taken to win against a Walsall who have struggled to win on the road of late.

Scunthorpe beat Shrewsbury

Scunny can keep pace at the top of the league when meeting Shrewsbury, an opponent who are improving, but are stuck in a relegation fight, just four points above the drop zone. The side currently second in the pile are taken to pull their weight at home.

St Mirren beat East Fife

In the Scottish Cup, St Mirren enjoy a weekend off from their Championship troubles to face lower league opposition. The Fifers are a part-time team and should be found out when stepping up a level against the boys from Paisley.

St Johnstone beat Partick

The Saints are four places higher in the Premiership than their opponents, and have already beaten them twice in the league, 1-0 and 2-0. They now meet in the cup, but a similar outcome is expected.

Ayr United beat Clyde

Ayr haven’t made a habit of winning this season, but they are from two-tiers above Clyde and their players should be professional enough to show it and advance into the next round.
