Cheltenham Day 3 Betting
St Patrick’s Thursday at Cheltenham kicks off with the Turners Novices Chase, but the traditional highlight is the Stayers Hurdle which goes to post at 3.30pm. Run over three miles, the Stayer Hurdle is the most highly regarded long-distance hurdle race in the entire season. The races to look out are the Stayers' hurdle and the Ryanair chase when placing your qualifying bet. We give you the best horse racing Cheltenham day three odds, Cheltenham day 4 on these races and more!
Cheltenham Tips - St Patrick's Day - Big Bucks
Cheltenham Festival Tips - Big Bucks is perhaps the most famous of the former winners of this Grade One horse race, but the prize has been taken home by Emma Lavelle’s Paisley Park in recent years, while the defending champion is Flooring Porter.
However, it is Klassical Dream who looks the one to beat following his win at Leopardstown and Willie Mullins’ eight-year-old has tasted Cheltenham success in the past.
Trainer Willie Mullins - Allaho
Cheltenham day 3 Festival. It could be a brilliant afternoon for trainer Willie Mullins, who also saddles the favourite Allaho in the supporting Ryanair Novices Chase. The eight-year-old was a breath-taking winner of the race in the hands of Rachael Blackmore in 2021, producing a fantastic display of jumping and galloping to see off Min from the front.
Henry de Bromhead - Anvoi Allen
Envoi Allen was an early faller when sent off favourite for the 1.30pm in 2021, but leading trainer Henry de Bromhead could gain some compensation if he unleashes his hugely exciting Bob Olinger in the opener. A winner at the Cheltenham 12 months ago, he looks to have the world at his feet.
L’Homme Presse was a winner at Prestbury Park on New Year’s Day and could give Venetia Williams the chance to saddle a rare Cheltenham winner, while trainer Willie Mullins is sure to have a more than useful hand to play in a race he has won four times since its inception in 2011.
A well as a Graded race for novice mares, there are three fiercely competitive handicaps for punters to decipher, two over fences and the Pertemps Final over hurdles.
