Cheltenham Day 2 Betting
Cheltenham Betting Tips - Ladies Day
Cheltenham Festival Day 2 kicks off with the Ballymore Novices Hurdle which has been won by racing superstars Bob Olinger and Envoi Allen in recent years. Leading trainers Gordon Elliott, Willie Mullins and Henry de Bromhead are sure to have their troops fully prepped for battle at Cheltenham Ladies day.
Queen Mother Champion Chase
However, the feature of day two is the Queen Mother Champion Chase which could see a fantastic showdown between last year’s Arkle champ Shishkin and Mullins’ exciting new kid on the block Energumene. Coral gives you the best Cheltenham day 2 odds, on this race Cheltenham Day 3 odds and more! The race is often one of the highlights of the whole meeting as the very best go hammer and tong at break-neck speed over the minimum distance. There is no let up and only a horse that has the perfect blend of speed, stamina and jumping proficiency will come out on top. Shishkin is one of Nicky Henderson’s leading hopes for the week and he is the leading UK trainer at this meeting.
Brown Advisory Novices
Hot on his heels is Paul Nicholls, who looks to have a great chance in the Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase over three miles. The Ditcheat handler has won this race with Denman in the past and his Bravemansgame has drawn plenty of comparisons to the former Gold Cup winner in his career to date.
The one to beat in the 2.10pm may well be Galopin Des Champs, who impressed on his chasing debut and could give Mullins back-to-back victories in the Grade One contest following Monkfish’s victory 12 months ago.
The Coral Cup
The Coral Cup is the feature handicap on Ladies Day and we will have extra-place specials for that competitive event which is sure to attract a full field, while the Glenfarclas Cross Country Chase has been won three times by Tiger Roll and the dual-Grand National hero could bring the house down if he records his sixth victory at the Cheltenham.
Champion Bumper
The stars of the future will be on show in the Champion Bumper to conclude the seven-race card, a race that has been won by some top performers in the past, including Cue Card in the hands of Coral ambassador Joe Tizzard.
At Coral we have odds for all seven races on day two of the Cheltenham Festival so whether it is an antepost punt or you prefer to wait until the day and take advantage of some of our Cheltenham specials, why not check out the odds and see if you can pick out a winner?
Remember you can stream every Cheltenham Festival race when placing a bet with Coral and we will have all the action previewed on our news site on our Cheltenham Tips and ITV Racing tips pages.
