Caught on the Konta-attack
Konta has a tricky draw, but nobody wants to play the rampaging Brit. Despite the hype around Naomi Osaka, Konta was dominant in her second round match. Can she beat the has-been Wozniacki 2-0? Get on.

BANG BANG BANG BANG, game Pliskova
Even Serena Williams and Garbine Muguruza sometimes seem a little tame compared to Pliskova. Ostapenko upset Putintseva, but this onslaught is likely to be far too much for the youngster. Lump on 2-0.

Jenny, you're barely alive
Jennifer Brady took advantage of a classic Heather Watson bottle job in the second round. Vesnina is playing her best tennis as she passes 30 and will probably have too much Grand Slam knowhow. Get on 2-0 here.

Serenity now
With two potential early banana skins dodged, Serena's reward is her easiest match so far. This is the biggest match of Gibbs' career to date and this must be the end of the road for her. Play the games over/under.

Serena had no answers to Kerber in last year's final. The passage of time will make it even harder for the great American and these outright prices may go on to look daft as a new star emerges this year. Get involved.

Serena may have won the Aussie Open 6 times, but in recent years it hasn't been her strongest Grand Slam. She's 'only' won it once since 2010, and was beaten in last year's final by Kerber. Can she scoop a seventh title Down Under? Get on.

Caroline Wozniacki may have a high profile, but the Dane has not even been to a Grand Slam quarter-final since 2014. WTA Sydney winner Konta continues to go from strength to strength so back her to send the flaky Dane home in straight sets here.

A sonic booming serve and thumping groundstrokes make Karolina Pliskova deadly in the women's game. The WTA Brisbane winner remains unbeaten in 2017 and is likely to have far too much power for Latvian starlet Ostapenko. Bet on the first set score.

Makarova has reached the Australian Open fourth round every year since 2011. Cibulkova has won all three previous meetings, but the sixth seed had to battle to beat Hsieh in three sets. Back Makarova to keep her proud record alive for another year.

Serena has made it look deceptively easy so far. Former top ten players Bencic and Safarova both failed to take a set from the six-time champion. Gibbs has never been to a Grand Slam fourth round and should be easy pickings. Bet on the first set score.

Australian Open men's betting at Coral

The annual Australian Open may be the first Grand Slam of the calendar year, but the men’s edition is actually the newest after Wimbledon, the US Open and French Open; though, actually officially became a major a year before the latter tournament achieved that status in 1924. Known as the Australasian Championships in the early days – where it was held in neighbouring New Zealand on occasion too - before becoming the Australian Championships in 1927 and then its present day name from 1969, English-born Aussie competitor Rodney Heath holds claim to being the first ever male champion in the event's history back in 1905. James Anderson, not to be confused with current England cricketer, meanwhile, won the maiden men’s title as a major, and he went on to add to his earlier success in 1922 a year later. While Anderson set an early benchmark, his trophy total of three has since been overtaken by seven stars, including two Australian compatriots Ken Rosewall and Roy Emerson, who has the record of six to date alongside Novak Djokovic (most in the Open Era). Not far behind Emerson’s total are retired American Andre Agassi (with four), Roger Federer (also four), who returns to action in Melbourne. Can world number one Sir Andy Murray finally win this tournament for the first time? Will late-blooming Swiss player Stan Warwinka climb to the mountain again, or could we have a maiden winner with the likes of Milos Raonic, Kei Nishikori and Dominic Thiem all still waiting to break through at tennis majors?
